Adagio4Peace by TRILITHON

This track is an ode to the rise of house-music in general, and more specific to the emergence of electronic dance- and Goa-trance music. With the permission of the artists of KLF, we have incorporated elements of their hit record: “What time is love” into Adagio4Peace, because this track is a milestone in the acceptance of electronic dance by a wider audience.
Above all, this track is a tribute to a milestone of classical music which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and romantic musical pieces ever made:

Adagio for strings and organ in G minor by Tomaso Albinoni.

A track loved by so many people that it is a permanent member of the funeral-tune top 3 (!)
Adagio4Peace is a musical p(e)acemaker between musical styles that are so far apart, that they usually have no overlapping audience. It takes the listener from authentic (electronically played) classical music to electronic dance - house- goa - and back again, all in one 13 minute breath.
In itself Adagio4Peace is what the TRILITHON sound has always been about: a meltdown of styles un-bothered by fashion or other musical must-do’s, dipped in the sonic sauce that is so typical for TRILITHON.
All sounds (except for some samples) were software-synthesized and 3 computers were used to perform this track.
